Critical Points 1.00   (details) 49/50 ENG   2 KB / 1 KB
ScreenshotCP is a simple User RPL program that attempts to find the critical points for any given function. It also gives the local Maximum and Minimum points, and F(x) at these points. It is handy for high school students to verify they have the right answer in exams. CP also complements the built in grapher, by giving exact answers for critical points.

Fast Factorial 3.00   (details) 49/50 ENG   2 KB / 1 KB
This program calculates the exact factorial of an integer. While the HP 49g+ has this built in, this program runs roughly forty times faster. 1000! takes FFAC about .35 seconds to calculate. The built in routine takes 27.5 seconds. FFAC runs natively on the ARM CPU. This is the first such user-made program for the 49g+. This program shows what the 49g+ is capable of when running native code. For the 49g+ only!

HPGCC Chess 1.1   (details) 49/50 ENG   12 KB / 15 KB
ScreenshotThis is simple chess program for HPGCC on the 50g, tested with ROM 2.08. This is a the chess demo from HPGCC, with two annoying deficiencies fixed. First, it is now easier to see which piece is white and which is black, and second, it displays the move made by the computer after the board is redrawn, so the player does not need to compare the positions. It is quite playable now, and plays decently. Since it is native ARM code, it gives a good ratio of speed/quality of play vs battery consumption.
