While HP 48 is locked, it handles activated alarms, ON+XX key combinations, reset through a hole under the rubber foot and even 'Recover Memory?' + [YES] situations (if you manage to cause one) - as long as your calculator is locked and HPLOCK is in its memory, the calculator will remain locked. It also enables you to encrypt and store away HOME with sub directories before lending your HP 48, and has a user customizable display for password entry.
