This might be a very good app to run on the 50G, there are no instructions as to how to download and run this app on the 50G.Every attempt to run this app fails. If you are monitoring this site I would very much appreciate explicit directions to run this app.

I finally figured out that the ROM Upgrade files were corrupt from all sources and waited until all corrupted files had been restored to original spec's. I than install the battery monitor and it works great. This is a really nice thanks giving now.

First, you have to go to the sd card folder, select all files of the battery program( using ENTER to select) and move them all to the flash folder. After doing that, you gotta do a soft reset pressing ON + F3. Now you can access the battery status by pressing Right-Shift + 2.

This is the only program that I could find whcih could detect both HP49g+ and HP50g's battery voltage. Good job!
Although it works perfect on my HP49g+. I still could not get really accurate voltage report on my HP50g. It read 3.76V while it's 3.72V on Fluke 87 multimeter at HP49g+. But I cannot get the report as accurate as it on my HP50g. It read 4.69V while the multimeter measured 4.98V. That's a notable difference.
Please don't take this the wrong way. I just stated what I've seen. And there should be some difference by units. But now I just use BatMon for my HP50g. It report 4.92V when I read 4.98V on my mutimeter.
Anyway, thank for the awesome program. I've been using BATV1 for a long time. I think this app is also made by the same programmer.
